Brkfst Lunch and Dinner encompasses both a research paper, focused on the effects of Spanish colonialism in Central America, as well as an interactive online cookbook. While much of my fieldwork will be used as primary research for my paper, I will also be building a foods wiki, on which I plan to publish both traditionally-prepared, foreign recipes, as well as popular Americanized versions of these dishes. The wiki will also feature sections on specific cooking techniques, as well as a comprehensive glossary of cooking terms. While I will be the sole contributor in the early days of the Brkfst Lunch and Dinner Wiki, I plan to open up the culinary library to outside contributors, specifically those contacts I have made abroad who have showed interest in publishing more of their work.
